Let your customers feel every dimension in Dolby Atmos and enjoy a 5.1-channel surround sound system and two additional overhead speakers or two Dolby Atmos elevation speakers for truly enveloping audio. Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization* technology can simulate the Atmos experience for those without in-ceiling or upward-firing speakers in their system.

HDR and HDR10+

HDR (high dynamic range) video provides incredible contrast, smooth tone, and rich, bright colors—providing viewers with full, high-definition enjoyment with an exceptionally realistic and natural picture quality. HDR10+ greatly improves video content's dynamic range (the ratio of light to dark) on a scene-by-scene (or even frame-by-frame) basis. Also, using frame-by-frame metadata improves the scene characteristics between bright and dark so that important detail can remain. This enables displays to reproduce images more realistically, adhering to the creator's intent.

End-To-End 8k/4k

Supports end-to-end 4K/60Hz, 8K/60Hz* and 4K/120Hz resolutions and higher refresh rate solutions with a single upgraded cable for seamless integration within the HDMI eco-system. 8K delivers a super-immersive viewing experience with 2x the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K, and four times as many pixels; and combined with a 60Hz refresh rate, it enables smooth and sharp viewing of content with high-speed action. 4K120 enables ultra-fast motion UHD images to be crisp and razor-sharp, allowing sports, action movies, high-performance gaming, and VR to benefit significantly.

Featuring Zone 2-compatible speaker terminals, this system can send the same (or even different) AV source playing in the main room for playback in another room. YPAO™ Automatic Room Calibration with R.S.C. and Multi-Point

YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) analyzes your customer’s room acoustics, measures speaker characteristics, and adjusts unwanted reflected sounds to optimize every channel of their home theater. R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) analyzes room acoustics and measures various speaker characteristics, then calibrates audio parameters to achieve optimum sound at any of eight listening positions. Simply by placing the supplied microphone at the listening position and switching YPAO on, the system is automatically calibrated, ensuring your customer’s home theater room has the best sound.

CINEMA DSP HD3 for Movie, Music and Games

This Yamaha flagship 3D sound field playback technology was created by combining actual measured sound field data with cutting-edge digital signal processing technology. The revamped CINEMA DSP HD3 features new signal processing algorithms and maximizes theatre sound effects, accurately reproducing a new dimension of realism for a sound field with a rich sense of presence and no feeling of boundaries. By using front, center, and surround speakers to create a rear virtual speaker, CINEMA DSP HD3 playback of up to 11.1 channels is possible* even with a 7.1-channel speaker configuration.

Anti-Resonance Technology Wedge

The Anti-Resonance Technology (A.R.T.) Wedge is a fifth foot in the center of the chassis unit base. It dampens vibrations from the power transformer, power transistors, heat sinks, and vibrations that might be caused by the sound from the speakers — providing dynamic sound and focused, accurate reproduction.
